Pada minggu 6 April 2026, para penyelenggara akan mengadakan sesi konsultasi khusus pemangku kepentingan untuk menghimpun masukan mengenai arah, prioritas, dan format Forum. Mereka mengundang peserta baru maupun yang sudah berpengalaman dari berbagai kelompok pemangku kepentingan, dan menyampaikan bahwa pokok-pokok hasil konsultasi akan dibagikan setelahnya.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"1217\">Hal ini mungkin terdengar seperti langkah prosedural, tetapi arti pentingnya jauh lebih besar daripada yang terlihat. Bagi pelaku usaha, kelompok masyarakat sipil, perwakilan pekerja, pembuat kebijakan, dan pelaku pembangunan, inilah saat ketika Forum masih dapat dibentuk sebelum agenda publik ditetapkan. Setelah program final disusun, ruang untuk memberi pengaruh menjadi jauh lebih sempit. Forum 2026 sendiri dijadwalkan berlangsung pada 14 hingga 17 September 2026 di Bangkok dengan tema \u201cBuilding Resilience, Advancing Rights\u201d.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1859\">Bagi Asia-Pasifik, hal ini penting karena perdebatan tentang bisnis yang bertanggung jawab di kawasan ini semakin menuntut dan semakin saling terkait. Isu hak-hak pekerja, pekerja migran, pemulihan, uji tuntas, praktik pembelian yang bertanggung jawab, gender, iklim, dan ketahanan rantai pasok tidak lagi berdiri dalam kotak-kotak terpisah. Pembeli, pemasok, pemerintah, dan masyarakat sipil semuanya kini berhadapan dengan irisan antarisu tersebut. Sebuah forum kawasan hanya benar-benar bernilai jika mampu mencerminkan tekanan-tekanan itu secara jujur dan memberi ruang yang memadai untuk membahas hambatan-hambatan praktis di baliknya.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"2582\">Karena itulah proses konsultasi ini layak mendapat perhatian tersendiri. Proses ini memberi kesempatan kepada para pemangku kepentingan untuk menyampaikan isu mana yang perlu mendapat perhatian lebih besar, suara mana yang masih kurang terwakili, dan format seperti apa yang dapat membuat Forum lebih berguna. Fakta bahwa undangan ini terbuka bagi peserta baru maupun peserta berpengalaman juga penting. Forum semacam ini dapat dengan mudah menjadi terlalu akrab, dengan lembaga-lembaga yang sama kembali hadir setiap tahun, sementara pemasok yang lebih kecil, kelompok pekerja, dan organisasi lokal tetap lebih sulit didengar. Konsultasi ini memberi peluang untuk memperluas lingkaran itu sebelum acara utamanya dimulai.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2584\" data-end=\"3226\">Tema 2026 juga menunjukkan satu ketegangan penting. Dalam pembahasan tentang rantai pasok, resilience atau ketahanan sering kali dipersempit hanya menjadi kesinambungan, diversifikasi, dan kemampuan mengelola gangguan. Namun, sebuah rantai pasok tidak dapat disebut tangguh jika biaya untuk menghadapi guncangan justru dialihkan kepada pekerja atau komunitas yang rentan. Dengan memasangkan ketahanan dengan hak, Forum ini memberi sinyal bahwa penyesuaian komersial dan perlindungan hak harus dibahas bersama, bukan diperlakukan sebagai kepentingan yang saling bertentangan. Hal itu membuat tahap penentuan agenda ini menjadi semakin penting.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3228\" data-end=\"3931\">Proses konsultasi ini juga memiliki bobot karena siapa yang berada di baliknya juga penting. Menurut pengumuman publik, UNRBHR2026 diselenggarakan oleh ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, IOM Asia Pacific, UN Human Rights &#8211; Asia, UNDP in Asia and the Pacific, UNEP Asia and the Pacific, UN Women Asia and the Pacific, serta UNICEF East Asia and Pacific, bekerja sama dengan UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights. Susunan ini membawa perspektif ketenagakerjaan, migrasi, pembangunan, lingkungan, gender, dan hak anak ke dalam satu ruang yang sama.
